We teach the techniques of breath hold diving, allowing you to see sights above and below the water, both around the British coast and of course more exotic places around the world. We are a local club providing training in snorkelling to British Sub-Aqua Club standards, the emphasis is on safety throughout our training.

Club Summary
Snorkel diving is an exhilarating way to explore under the sea around the coast of Britain. There are many fish, crabs, lobsters and jellyfish to be seen as well as the occasional dolphin.
We teach youngsters from the age 8 up to the age of 80! [who can swim at least 50m]. We cover the basics of snorkelling (selection of equipment) through to advanced snorkelling skills (Dive Management). There are also opportunities to learn other skills as lifesaving and even boat handling.
We meet at Dorking Sports Centre on Sunday mornings at 08:30.
Membership Fees (September 2023): Adult £59, Child £54 for a term (based on Spring, Summer, Autumn/Winter school terms, usually 10-12 weeks in length). We offer a sibling discount of 10% per sibling and a concession rate of £48 if a member is working towards an award.
There are opportunities for training to the full British Sub-Aqua Club syllabus as well as short 'holiday' courses.
We have helped many with their Duke if Edinburgh's Award. Scout's can use snorkelling towards the water sports badge and Guides towards the sports badge.
We are part of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) and our members need to join BSAC as well, after the first try dive. This costs £27.00 per year (July 2025) and includes your BSAC Qualification Record Book (QRB) and provides third party insurance cover.
